    Winter Tires

    Tires for winter that improve traction and breaking function on ice and snow. To prevent accidents, please reserve winter tires if there is a chance you will be driving on snow covered roads.

    【Snowy Regions】
     Hokkaido, Aomori, Akita, Iwate, Yamagata, Miyagi, Fukushima, Niigata, Toyama, Gifu, Nagano etc.

    During the winter season (December to March), there is a risk of snowfall and road surface freezing around Mt. Fuji and the Hakone area. If you plan on going there, we recommend that you reserve a vehicle equipped with studless tires.

    Snow chains or ski/snowboard racks must be reserved in advance.

    Fees vary by shop. Please contact the TOYOTA Rent a Car Reservation Center for more information.
    • *Be sure to check the weather conditions for your day of pick-up.
    • *If not reserved in advance, you cannot reserve them on the day of your departure.
