1 Does the car rental fee include insurance compensation?
The following amount will be paid as compensation for unexpected accidents. This insurance and compensation system is included in the hourly rate.

2 Are there any mileage limits or additional charges?
There are no mileage limits or additional charges. You can drive as long a distance as you like!
3 Is my car equipped with a car navigation system?
Car navigation systems are standard equipment on All passenger cars (including station wagons and SUV) (except for some models and regions).
4 Is the car navigation system multilingual?
Car navigation systems with English, Chinese or Korean audio are available (some information is displayed in Japanese only). Please select the language of your preference when you make an online reservation.

5 How can I rent an ETC card?
ETC cards can be requested at the time of your online reservation.
ETC card rental is available with a one-time fee of 330 JPY (tax included 10%). Expressway tolls are not included in this fee. Please pay the actual amount of the tolls that have collected when you return a car.
Not available at some shops such as on remote islands. There may be instances where rental is not possible due to reservation conditions.
6 Are ETC cards necessary to use expressways (toll-ways) ?
You can drive on expressways (toll-ways) without an ETC card, but you cannot drive in an ETC lane when passing through tollgates.
Please drive in a "一般 (General)" lane.

7 I'm going to travel to Japan in winter. Do I need winter tires or snow chains?
It starts to snow in some areas of Japan from September. Please use the winter tires or snow chains when you travel to areas with snowfall in winter. Winter tires or snow chains are standard equipment at some shops while they are an option that requires advance reservation at other shops. 8 How can I rent winter tires or snow chains?
Winter tires are available for online reservation during the winter season. If you wish to rent snow chains, please make your request using the email address or telephone number shown on the reservation completion screen. Although the starting period for reservations varies by shop, the typical start is from around October or November.
