When a customer who has an implanted cardiac pacemaker or an implanted defibrillator (hereinafter referred to as "pacemaker") uses a rental car equipped with the Smart Entry system, it may have a negative effect on the pacemaker.
Please consult with the TOYOTA Rent a Car Reservation Center if you have a pacemaker.

Sign your name, and after checking the car for any damages, get your rental car.

C3, C4, C5, Speciality, W3, SUV3, SUV4, ZE3, ZE4 and Lexus classes must be paid by credit card.
QR code payment not available.
Please let the staff know your reservation details when you arrive at the pick-up location.

Step 4Before Departing with Your Rental Car
Your Rental Terms and Conditions will be prepared. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the shop staff. After confirming the contents of the Rental Terms and Conditions, please sign it and pay the estimated rental charges.
Check if there are any scratches or dents on the car with the shop staff before departure.
Adjust the seat and mirror, and remember to fasten both your front and rear seatbelts.
Check the traffic laws and information provided for your convenience beforehand, in order to drive safely in Japan.
Return the car to the shop you designated when you made the reservation.
Check for any things like damage to the car.
Settle your bill at the counter, and the return is complete.
Fill the tank at the nearest gas station before you return the car.
(If you do not, the prescribed fuel charge depending on mileage will be charged.)
Recommended for hybrid cars is the HEV Fuel Charging option, which means that the car does not need to be returned with a full tank.
Please contact the shop you rented the car or the TOYOTA Rent a Car Reservation Center from in advance if you decide to rent it longer.
(Please note that a prescribed penalty will be charged if you exceed your scheduled rental hours without prior notice.)
The balance will be adjusted as necessary.
After arriving at the returning shop, the shop staff will check the car for any scratches or dents.
Be sure to take all of your belongings out of the car.
