How to Use

NaviBridge is an app which searches for your destination through various compatible apps on smartphones and effortlessly sends the found destination to the onboard navigation system as a send-to-car app, automatically setting the destination into the navigation system.

Download

Make sure to download the app in your home country before your trip.

NaviBridge can be downloaded (free) from App Store or Google Play.

Note:
Use of the app requires an environment where a signal is available. Switch on international roaming or have a mobile router prepared.
Check with your carrier for details on using international roaming.

Setup

Connect to the navigation system before using the rental car.

Car Navigation System Settings

Press the "MENU" button.
(Or press the "設定・編集 (Settings/Edit)" button.)

Touch "設定・編集 (Settings/Edit)" on the screen.
(Not shown on some navigation systems)

Touch "機器登録・接続 (Register/Connect Device)" under the "Bluetooth" tab.

Touch "追加 (Add)."

The system will wait for a signal.
Leave it as is, and
go to number

in Smartphone Settings.

Touch "設定 (Settings)."
Note: This screen may differ depending on the model.

Touch "Bluetooth."

Tap the toggle bar next to "Bluetooth" to turn it on (turning green).

Touch the device name "CAR MULTIMEDIA," shown as

in number

of Setup with Car Navigation System.

Make sure "接続されました (Connected)" is displayed.

Once the "接続されました (Connected)" message is shown, tap "完了 (Complete)."

By using the Bluetooth setting, you can talk on the phone or listen to music in the car.

Note:

Perform all these steps inside the car.
The setup methods above are an example. Methods differ depending on the model of the car navigation system or smartphone.
Depending on the car navigation system model, Bluetooth support may be unavailable.
With Androids, additionally selecting the connected device through the NaviCon app is required after pairing.
